Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Drop Recipe app developed by Pine Mobile Apps (“we,” “us”) on iPhone and on Android. By using the app, you agree to them.

This document covers both apps. Clauses that apply to only one of them are marked iPhone or Android. Everything unmarked applies to both.

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Drop Recipe, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. License

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. The app is licensed, not sold, to you.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Drop Recipe is free to download. It offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions and, where shown, a one-time purchase that unlock premium features. Available plans and prices are always shown in the app before you buy. Billing runs entirely through the app store you installed from — we never receive or process your payment card details.

iPhone

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Android

Payment is charged to your Google Account through Google Play at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel a subscription in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Any free trial is granted once per Google account and converts to a paid period unless cancelled before it ends. Refunds are handled by Google under Google Play's refund policy.

4. Your Content

Recipes and content you add to the app belong to you. You are responsible for ensuring your content is lawful and that you have the right to use it.

5. Imported and Third-Party Content

When you import a recipe from a website, social post, video, or other source, that content may be owned by someone else. You are responsible for using imported content for personal use and in line with the rights of its owners. We are not responsible for third-party content.

6. AI Content, Accuracy and Food Safety

Some recipes are extracted or generated automatically using AI and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Cooking times, quantities, nutrition, and especially allergen and ingredient information may be wrong. Always use your own judgement, check ingredients for allergies and dietary needs, and follow safe food-handling practices. You use recipes at your own risk.

7. Shared Recipe Links and Community Standards

Sharing is optional. If you choose to share a recipe, we create a public link at droprecipe.app/r/… that anyone holding the link can open, and we store that recipe — including its photo, if it has one — on our servers for up to one year, after which it is deleted automatically. Everything else in your library stays private.

Content you publish through a share link must not be unlawful, infringing, sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, deceptive, or dangerous, and must not contain other people's personal information. You are responsible for what you publish, and you confirm you have the rights to publish it. We may remove any shared recipe, at any time and without notice, if we believe it breaches these Terms or the law.

Removing a share. You can delete a shared link from within the app at any time, which removes both the recipe and its photo from our servers. To report a shared recipe — including content you believe infringes your rights — email info@pinemobileapps.com with the link. Every public share page carries the same reporting link. We review reports and remove content that breaches these Terms.

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the app for illegal purposes, infringe the rights of others, attempt to access or disrupt our services beyond normal app use, or reverse engineer, copy, or modify the app except where permitted by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

The app is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pine Mobile Apps is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app and does not guarantee that it will operate without interruption or error.

10. Changes

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated through the app or on this page.

11. App Store Terms

Drop Recipe is licensed, not sold, to you. The terms of the store you installed from also apply to your use of the app.

iPhone

Your use of the app is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”), available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. These Terms supplement the Standard EULA; if there is any conflict regarding your license to use the app, the Standard EULA controls. Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no obligation to provide support for the app; Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Android

Your use of the app is also governed by the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to these Terms, does not license the app to you, and is not responsible for the app or for providing support for it. The Apple Standard EULA does not apply to the Android app.
